Both being part of the LGBTQ+-community, Luca and I made it our goal to celebrate queer love and life in all its forms and colours. In collaboration with Savannah Bay, we worked on four different illustrations depicting the love we share for our community. Both working on two illustrations each, I got to depict Pride and Love as what it means to me.
Pride - Selfhood - Transcend - Love
2022A self-initiated project realised by Luca van der Vossen and Jeltje de Koning, in collaboration with Savannah Bay, the only remaining intersectional feminist bookstore of The Netherlands, located in Utrecht.
This project consists of four screenprinted A2-sized posters (all unique), seven different bookmarks and bundles containing postcards, with poetry Luca and I wrote printed on the back.
Pride - Selfhood - Transcend - Love was exhibited at Savannah Bay during Pride Month, August 2021. The cards were for sale and with every book bought at the store, customers received one of our bookmarks.
