In loving memory of Floor van Liemt

This illustration was originally meant for an article written by Floor van Liemt for NRC. Floor suffered from lung cancer and wrote ‘diary entries’ about being young and sick, this entry being about relationships and loving. 
Floor passed away on December 31st, 2021. 
During my internship at NRC, I was asked if these illustrations could accompany an article about Floor written by her mother, Alexa Gratama. This was such a big honor and I feel very grateful to have my work associated with such a beautiful article for a beautiful woman.
